Its condenser and evaporator fan motors are electronically commutated, meaning they produce little heat and consume little energy. For consistent maintenance, the unit's condensing fan motor blows in a reverse direction to help eliminate dust buildup on the condensing coil. This 20-second mechanism can improve coil operation and elongate its lifespan, and it works in tandem with general maintenance. Since the evaporator is epoxy coated, it is resistant to corrosion, and the refrigeration system is bottom mounted to keep the compressor in the coolest area of the kitchen.
